CrossFit is constantly varied, functional movements, executed at high intensity relative to each individual’s physical and psychological tolerances. It is definitively the most effective and efficient path to improved fitness and health. This method is based on a three tier system: mechanics, consistency, intensity. We focus on the athlete’s technique and coach them to a desired level of performance. We work with the athlete to ensure consistency in that technique. Once the athlete can consistently demonstrate good technique, intensity is applied. Intensity is the independent variable, most commonly associated with positive fitness outcomes. We recognize that every person’s desired and safe level of intensity is different. Through quality coaching, we help our athlete’s identify and manage that level of intensity.
Adventure CrossFit provides one-hour long CrossFit classes. We want to give you the best hour of your day. A typical class with us includes emphasis on a calculated and unique warm up, strength and skill progressions, the Workout of the Day (WOD), and a cooldown.
